William Harvey performs the Mexican premiere of Ranjbaran Violin Concerto with National Symphony of Mexico, Ludwig Carrasco, conductor. These performances are on April 4, and 6, 2025 in the historic Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. 

Ranjbaran Violin Concerto was the competition concerto at the Juilliard School.  William Harvey as the winner of the competition performed the concerto with the Juilliard Orchestra, Gerard Schwarz, conductor in Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, New York in 2006.

Ranjbaran Violin Concerto is dedicated to Joshua Bell who premiered it with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Gerard Schwarz, conductor in 2002. 

In composing his Violin Concerto, Ranjbaran drew inspiration from the traditional Persian Kamancheh, and its delicate sound.
